The Spirit of St. Louis (1957) Rated PG

The story of Charles Lindbergh’s solo flight across the Atlantic ocean. Based on the book by Charles Lindbergh. Starring James Stewart, Murray Hamilton, Patricia Smith.

One of Stewart’s best films, he embodies the essence of Lindbergh with ease. Mostly focused on Lindbergh’s solo flight, the movie also has flashbacks to his past which shaped him into the pilot he became. It may not be completely historically accurate, but it is definitely inspirational and sensational, which fit the audience it was made for. A great film, this one is worth a watch.
