First Kill (2017) Rated R

A Wall Street broker brings his family to the place where he grew up to find that local law enforcement is investigating a bank robbery. Starring Bruce Willis, Hayden Christensen, Ty Shelton.

The premise to the film is intriguing, but that’s where it ends.  The writing is poor and the story is unrealistic. There are plot drops throughout the film, an there isn’t much suspense; it’s pretty obvious from the start who did it. However, it is fun to see Willis and Christensen at work, although even they couldn’t help salvage the script or direction. Also, the friendship between Danny and Levi is enjoyable to watch, but there just isn’t enough there to commend this film. It is a pass.
