Turn: Washington’s Spies (AMC) Rated NR

This series follows Abe Woodhull as he bands together a group of friends to form  The Culper Ring, a group of spies who turned the tide in the American Revolution.  Based on the book, Washington’s Spies: The Story of America’s First Spy Ring  by Alexander Rose. Starring Jamie Bell, Seth Numrich, Daniel Henshall, Meegan Warner, Heather Lind, Kevin McNally, Samuel Roukin.

AMC is known for its amazing series, and this one is no exception. Covering the American Revolution from the fall of 1776, when the insurgents declared war on Britain, until 1781, the story simply unfolds with no further explanation. I appreciate the historical accuracy of this series, which acknowledges that not everyone was eager to separate from England. Well executed, this show is worth a watch.
