This thriller takes on a parallel murder case based on a true story. The film goes back and forth between the time lines as we try to figure out who the murderer was. I really enjoyed Josh Lucas’ portrayal of the father in 1958 who lost his son. The film has some difficulty making the combining of the two stories gel. At times, it seems over-the-top, and the end felt rushed. Although the premise was interesting and Lucas was great, the writing was lacking, making this film a pass.
