Into the White (2012) Rated R

A group of airmen from different sides of WWII come together after being stranded in a cabin. Starring Florian Lukas, David Kross, Stig Henrik Hoff.

This war film is based on the true story of a group of airmen from opposing sides of the war coming together for survival. The first 10 minutes is in German, which I loved; it made it feel more authentic. There is no suspense; it is a straightforward telling of events. The cinematography is beautiful, though; it adds so much to the story. This film isn’t the best in its genre, but for the positive message of teamwork and friendship among unlikely people, it is definitely worth a watch.
