56 Up (2012) Rated NR

In this documentary, Michael Apted interviews the same group of people every seven years to highlight the changes in their lives. The individuals are now 56 years old. Starring Michael Apted, Bruce Balden, and Jacqueline Bassett.

This is a unique documentary. We explore the lives of these individuals and watch them change as they grow.  Now, as they approach old age, the group members seem to focus more on the past than on the future. The documentary makes you wonder how much longer Apted will be able to continue with this film series. What’ll happen if something happens to Apted or one of the interviewees? This film and the others in the series are intriguing and worth a watch.
