Upgrade (2018) Rated R

In the near future, technology controls our life. When Greg, who is a technophobe, has his life turned upside down, he gets a computer implant that’s bent on revenge. Starring Logan Marshall-Green, Melanie Vallejo, and Steve Danielsen.

Wow! This film was surprisingly better than I expected. The film does have some plot holes, but the story overall pulls you in. It makes you wonder about life in the future. Technology is a big part of our lives right now, but how far will it go? I think Logan Marshall-Green’s performance is what made this film stand out. You can see the differences when the machine takes over and when he becomes human again. There is a distinct change in his body. This is well done. This film is worth a watch.
