Richard Belrow Livingston III races through the small town of Duck Creek where the speed limit is 25. Once caught, the judge throws the book at him with 30 days of jail time. This causes a delay in his elopement with a Broadway star. Instead, he sweet talks the judges’ daughter into letting him have 24 hours to meet his sweetheart, but they end up falling for each other. This is a typical 1950s song and dance film without a strong story. You know how the story is going to go. There are no surprises in the story. It’s a light film with comedy and dance. The romance doesn’t have the warmth you would expect. It’s a film that is fun to watch, but it would be forgotten as soon as it ended. It’s not worth a watch.
