Intruders (2011) Rated R

Two children in different countries are visited by a faceless intruder set to possess them. Starring Clive Owen, Carice van Houten, and Daniel Brühl.

This is an interesting horror film. I rather liked it even though it doesn’t bring anything new and it becomes stagnant. There  is a twist at the end that makes me think that it might be worth a watch. The film has two storylines that make you ask how and why are these two children connected. Then you have the slow pace of the film, which I actually enjoyed – it really set the tone of the film. The movie does have some suspenseful scenes, and the parent interactions with the scared kids were good. The young actors held their own with their portrayal of being scared of faceless person. This film has its moments, but it still isn’t worth a watch.
