Love and Honor (2013) Rated PG-13

A young man who’s fighting the war in Vietnam gets dumped by his hometown girlfriend, so he and his friend go AWOL to win her back. Starring Liam Hemsworth, Austin Stowell, and Teresa Palmer.

This is more of an anti-war film than a romance. We have two friends, one who wants to fulfill his duty to his country and the other questions what they are doing. The film has some plot holes, but it does show the era of the 60s in light of what it was. It has many twists and turns, and it keeps you on your toes with these characters. There’s a twist at the end that you may see coming, but it has a surprising outcome. Although this film does have some good points, it also made my stomach turn – and not on the good side. This is not worth a watch.
