The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009) Rated PG-13

Edward leaves Bella after she is attacked, which causes her to fall into depression and a subsequent relationship with a childhood friend. Based on the book New Moon by Stephenie Meyer. Starring Kristen Stewart, Christina Jastrzembska, and Robert Pattinson.

This film is bad overall. Just bad. The script is the worst and makes the story stilted and not smooth. It also doesn’t bode well for the actors. The acting is either too wooden or overdone, and I still can’t get over how the parents are not involved in their children’s lives throughout the film. Seriously, Bella supposedly goes into a deep depression, but her father doesn’t help – he just lets her go down that path, and when she disappears for a couple of days, she just gets a talking to and a grounding. Kristen Stewart’s acting is the worst, but there are moments of warmth there. This film is not worth a watch.
