The Nine Lives of Christmas (2014) Rated TV-G

After a stray cat adopts Zachary, he meets a woman that changes his mind about being single. Starring Brandon Routh, Kimberley Sustad, and Stephanie Bennett.

This is another typical Hallmark Christmas romance. There is again nothing about this film that separates it from any other Hallmark Christmas movie. It’s a humorous and emotional story, as usual. The actors were enjoyable to watch, and their chemistry wasn’t that bad. The film does have the overly sweet side – the firefighters for one are too perfect, as is usual with Hallmark films…the characters are perfect, not many flaws. It’s also one of the slower paced films. This is a film that is easy to watch, but it doesn’t offer anything to separate it from the crowd. The movie is not worth the watch.
