Two scientists go into the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone to check the animal life surrounding the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, where the worst nuclear accident in history happened 30 years ago. Starring Tim Mousseau, Rob Nelson, and Mary-Ann Ochota.
This show is really much of a documentary on life after Chernobyl. Here we have a couple of scientists supposedly going into the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone – not fully covered and with little scientific investigation. I do find it humorous that the scientists are fully covered in hazmat, but the other scientists around them are not. Mostly the show is a sightseeing expedition of the animals and plants that surround the area. They do talk about the effects of the radiation on the animals, but it’s not scientifically proven. This film is not worth a watch.
