100%: Julian Edelman (2019) Rated TV-MA

The film takes an inside look at Julian Edelman from injury to MVP of Super Bowl LI. Starring Tom Brady, Frank Edelman, and Julian Edelman.

I thought this might be an interesting documentary on the life of a football quarterback – especially since it’s produced by Edelman. I was thinking that we’d have an inside look at his life, but we do not. We don’t get the depth or inside story; we just get an overview of the year that he was injured. It’s not even an in-depth look at his come back. It’s just Edelman talking and others talking about their relationship, Julian’s workout, and an occasional scene with his daughter. At every turn, there is controversy that isn’t fully addressed. His relationship with his father, his suspension, and even his daughter have controversies that are not addressed. This film is not worth a watch.
