A take of A Shop Around the Corner with romantic comedy spoofs does not sync together at all. I love Paul Rudd, but I really struggled with his chemistry with Poehler. The film just doesn’t seem to know where it’s going or what it is. It’s not funny, and it doesn’t bring out the satire that it’s trying for in spoofing other romantic comedies. The film’s potty humor doesn’t sit well for a romantic comedy; it seems to go on forever, repeating the same joke. This film is not worth a watch.
