Charlie’s and his brother Sam are in a car accident in which Sam passes away. After the accident, Charlie is given a gift of seeing loved ones that have passed. Based on the book, The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud by Ben Sherwood. Starring Zac Efron, Charlie Tahan, and Amanda Crew.
This film starts with all the warm fuzzies of brotherly love. It’s a predictable story, although ambiguous and at times lacking credibility in the story. The story runs smoothly until the end when the screenwriters decide to try and give us twists. This story is one of those sweet teen romances that doesn’t quite make sense but is still enjoyable to watch. However, I don’t believe it is worth a watch.
