With CGI, Ancient Skies takes a look at the skies that our ancestors looked at throughout history. Starring Jason Alan Carvell.

I really wasn’t impressed with this series. While the CGI was amazing and brilliant and beautiful, and I really enjoyed looking at the sky and seeing how brilliant the planets and stars are, it’s sad to think of the millions of people who don’t get to enjoy seeing them on a nightly basis because they are too close to cities. The sky is beautiful, and it is one of the many places that still need further exploration. This series tries to show us the skies that our ancestors observed and how our view of the sky changed with technology. I really didn’t like the combination of explaining the sky’s change through history with the rise of technology – it’s as if that made the sky change. This film is not worth a watch.
