Downton Abbey (2019) Rated PG

The continuing story of the Crawley family in the early twentieth century. Starring Tuppence Middleton, Matthew Goode, and Michelle Dockery.

This is a great ongoing story of the Crawley family. It’s just another glimpse into the lives that revolve around the wealthy family. It’s a glimpse of some amazing stories that don’t happen for everyone. The writing is just as brilliant as it is in the television series. The acting is great, as the actors know their characters well. Of course, the makeup and aging process for the actors isn’t the best, but the costumes surpassed the brilliance of the series. The show is very soap-opera-like, and the movie highlights that aspect. It shows more like a soap opera due to the fact that it isn’t spread out over six weeks – it’s compacted into two hours. I also felt that the story did not explain everything, but I also watched all six seasons of the show. This is still a film worth a watch.
