Flying Home (2014) Rated NR

A businessman must choose between a deal that would make his career or the woman he loves. Starring Jamie Dornan, Anthony Head, and Ali Suliman.

I rather enjoyed this film. It’s not the best romance, but I really enjoyed Dornan’s performance. This isn’t the first time that he has blown me away. I rather enjoyed him in The Fall, in which he plays a completely different character than the one he plays here. Like I said, this film isn’t an outstanding romance – you know what is going to happen and how it’s going to end. However, I think sometimes the best romances don’t try to include too many twists that pull away from the fun romance, and this is a fun romance. There are corny scenes, but I just think Dornan’s performance is what holds this film together, making it worth a watch.
