Vagrant Queen follows an orphaned child queen as she tries to keep one step ahead of a government planning to extinguish her bloodline. Based on the comics by Magdalene Visaggio and Jason Smith. Starring Adriyan Rae, Tim Rozon, and Alex McGregor.
This is one of those shows that looks like it could become a classic if it had the right audience. However, there are a number of problems with this one, and the writing is one. I thought the costumes and makeup were phenomenal, but there were times when you could tell it was makeup. The acting needs some work; they don’t pull the audience into the story. I really thought the premise of the show would be interesting to watch, but the actors aren’t believable when they try to act shocked, amazed, or upset. Then you have the obvious love triangle affair that isn’t really believable either because there really isn’t any chemistry. It was hard to figure out if they were going for satire or if we’re supposed to believe that this is real. It’s not worth a watch.
