Jesus Trejo: Stay at Home Son (2020) Rated NR

Comedian Jesus Trejo is an only child of immigrant parents, and that shapes the way he learns lessons while seeking parental approval. Starring Jesus Trejo.

I honestly enjoyed his show. It’s cleaner than other comic bits. He has the self-deprecating comedy down with the family dynamics. Jesus’ sense of humor makes the joke about him and always brings the joke back to himself when telling it. He’s brilliant at bringing out the differences between his life and his parents’ childhood. The age gap is there, and not only that but the way of learning American culture. This special is worth a watch.
