The Christmas Gift (1986) Rated NR

A widowed New York City architect and his daughter go on vacation in a small town where everyone still believes in Santa Claus. Starring John Denver, Jane Kaczmarek, and Edward Winter.

This is a Christmas film that brings us the joys of family, traditions, and legends. The story revolves around a small-town community and how they come together to encourage and help each other. It also showcases John Denver, both as an actor and a musician. The film is very sentimental with its story. It’s a very predictable Christmas film and has great acting, but alas, nothing really makes it stand out amongst other Christmas films. This makes the film not worth a watch.
