This is one of those Christmas films that has too much going on. It’s a romance with a mystery. The mystery isn’t really a mystery when you can solve it before it’s solved on screen. The romance between the leads, former high school sweethearts, doesn’t have any chemistry either. The story struggles with finding its path, whether it’s the mystery, the bakery, or the lovers. None of the storylines are strong. Plus, when you add in the bad writing and bad acting, this film is not worth a watch.
