Frosty’s Winter Wonderland (1976) Rated TV-G

Frosty comes back to visit the children, but he’s lonely, so the children make him a wife. Starring Andy Griffith, Shelley Winters, and Dennis Day.

This is a wonderful sequel to Frosty the Snowman. However, it’s not the best script as there are some holes in it. For one, Jack Frost doesn’t like Frosty and would like to destroy him. This is a subplot that really doesn’t go anywhere, and it’s unknown to Frosty that Jack Frost is out to get him. However, in the end, everyone is happy. Though I did wonder about the other snow people the children create – where did the Reverend go at the end of the film? The story has a moral and teaching of how the world was created. It’s a great sequel to the original that weaves the song throughout. It’s worth a watch.
