Damien (A&E) Rated TV-14

After discovering his origins, Damien Thorn copes with the knowledge that he is the Anti-Christ. Starring Bradley James, Megalyn Echikunwoke, and Omid Abtahi.

I think this show doesn’t understand what the Anti-Christ should be. Here is a man who knows he is evil and is trying to do good rather than evil. The Anti-Christ is a deceiver, so maybe he is trying to deceive us all. The concept is good, as Thorn is torn about his destiny and also that he discovers his destiny. Mostly, I felt the show didn’t find what kind of show it wanted to be. It was confused. You would think that there would be some supernatural elements. Knowing the Anti-Christ is human but evil makes the show on the right path, but it just didn’t mesh. This series is not worth a watch.
