Terminator Genisys (2015) Rated PG-13

When John Connor sends Sgt. Kyle Reese back to 1984 to protect his mother, the events create a fractured timeline. Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke, and Emilia Clarke.

This film is by far the worst Terminator film. The acting is overly dramatic. The script needs some work; it has the feel of the first two films, but the script makes no sense. The plot is so jumbled that it was so hard to follow, and it doesn’t seem to understand the rules set forth in the first two films. I know they are trying to reboot the franchise, but at least have a possible story to back it up. The film doesn’t really know what it wants to be, but what it ends up being is a story that doesn’t make sense, with characters we couldn’t care less about, and it’s executed in a way that doesn’t help us understand where it’s going. This film is not worth a watch.
