Sex and the City (HBO) Rated TV-14

Four New York women gossip about sex while trying to survive living single in New York City. Based on the novel by Candace Bushnell. Starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, and Kristin Davis.

I was never a big fan of this show. What’s great about this show is that these characters are majorly flawed. They are both self-destructive in relationships while also being as strong as they can be. The show does talk a lot about taboo subjects, but it brings out the friendship between the ladies as there is not much judgement on the discussions. The show is brilliantly written, and the characters are all women we can relate to. It’s not a show that you should learn from, unless it is learning what not to do. It’s just a fun, entertaining show that has depth to it, making it worth the watch.
