Gary Owen: Black Famous (2021) Rated NR

Gary Owen’s comedy special talks about the global pandemic and his very public divorce. Starring Gary Owen.

I’ve never really been a fan of Owen’s, and this did not encourage the fandom either. While Owens, at times, can be funny, his talk on the pandemic is hilarious, but his personal life – not so much. He tries to crack jokes about his alimony, the freebies he gets because he’s a celebrity, and women that he now gets to enjoy. Gross me out. That’s not my sense of humor. It’s humor that is only funny after you’ve had a case of beer, not when you are cold stone sober. That also, in my opinion, doesn’t make you a comedian. This special is not worth the watch.
