This is one of my favorite shows. Hicks tastes his way across America to find and discover each state’s plate of food they are known for. The show combines two things I love: cooking and traveling. Hicks not only tastes the food but also helps prepare it. When I heard that Hicks was going to host this show, I wondered what he had to do with food – he is best known as a musician. However, Taylor’s Southern charm and love of food (He owns his own restaurant) carry us through to the places he discovers the food that made each state. It’s a joy to watch and worth every minute.
