The Engagement Clause (2016) Rated TV-PG

An executive must find herself a husband by Christmas in order to inherit a fortune. Starring Jes Macallan, Coby Ryan McLaughlin, and April Bowlby.

This film is more of a romantic comedy than a Christmas romance. The film’s focus is on romance, which makes it stand out, but doesn’t bode well for those that want the festive spirit. The film does ask you to suspend your disbelief with the concept of the plot.  While the plot and conflict are preposterous, I love the family’s chemistry. The actress is actually amazing in bringing her character to life where we sympathize and root for her. Overall, it’s a cute romantic comedy; however, it’s not worth the watch.
