People Magazine does a wonderful job at interviewing and pacing the show. The show follows typical true crime genre patterns with great documentation and narrative. Although, due to the ongoing investigation of most of these stories, we don’t get a conclusion. We have no idea how the story ends, and People leaves it more open ended. Also, most of the shows are regurgitated from other true crime shows, so nothing new is added. It’s still an interesting watch and worth it if it’s a crime that’s interesting.
