This Peanuts special doesn’t have all the Peanuts gang, and the story revolves around Peppermint Patty. However, the heart of Peanuts is there throughout the story. This story shows a different side of Peppermint Patty as she is not a tomboy but an elegant and graceful skater. There’s little humor except for occasional scenes between Marcie,  her costume designer, and Snoopy trying to train Peppermint Patty. They each have their moments. There is also a wonderful scene of Woodstock whistling Patty’s music. That was done by a professional whistler,  Jason Serinus. This special is one that gives us the heart that is the Peanuts Gang, and is worth the watch.
