Since Hallmark has become known for Christmas romance and holiday-themed TV movies for the month of December, other networks have jumped on the bandwagon. This film aired on the OWN channel, but they haven’t perfected the formula yet. The writing had the usual sweet flair, but it wasn’t always logical. I also felt that everything was just too pat and dry. It’s like the scenarios were too easy for the characters to maneuver. Then you have the political correctness, which became more of a stumbling block for the sweet romance. While the characters were interesting and the chemistry was there, it just had very primary writing. It’s not worth the watch.
