Next Stop, Christmas (2021) Rated TV-G

A doctor is planning on having Christmas alone until her commuter train takes her home in 2011. Starring Lyndsy Fonseca, Chandler Massey, and Erika Slezak.

This is a cute Hallmark film and doesn’t have the traditional storyline either. We have a woman who has been single for a long time and still pines for an ex, even though she is aware there were problems. There are plot holes to the story, but for the most part, the story is still interesting enough to hold your attention. The actors all handle their characters with heart while still maintaining chemistry with each other. The only problem I found was in the ending. It wasn’t the best, but I did worry that it might be a little difficult to get an ideal ending. Although, it still warmed the heart and stayed true to the story. Thus, the film is one of the better ones of the season and worth the watch.
