This Spongebob Special does a parody of The Twilight Zone. While that is all fine and dandy it does have moments that make it not so enjoyable. The family members are mean to each other as they get upset with GrandPat and try to teach him a lesson. However, the lesson doesn’t seem to give any new knowledge. Yet, in the end, they are one big happy family. I don’t know if this is consistent with the Star family or not, but it wasn’t the best for kids to watch. The story, on the other hand, doesn’t make much sense. It doesn’t flow together well. Add to it all the gross comedy, which isn’t my cup of tea, and the special isn’t worth a watch.
