This film is trying to showcase Babylon in a realistic view of excess and ambition. This is truly what Babylon would look and act like. What the film lacks is a good story to go with the drug use, orgies, and wealth. They don’t have any real plotline to give us a reason to watch. It’s got style but no substance. There are just too many storylines to give us a good view of the indulgence each character partakes in. The film relies so much on visual excess that it loses the content and characters in its wake. Thus, the film is not worth the watch.
