Inferno (2016) Rated PG-13

Robert Langdon wakes up with amnesia and teams up with Dr. Brooks, who’s fighting against a deadly global plot. Based on the book series by Dan Brown. Starring Tom Hanks, Felicity Jones, and Omar Sy.

I have never read any of the books by Dan Brown, so I can’t attest to the pros and cons between the book and the film. However, the film starts off shaky as we don’t get an understanding of the visions that Langdon has. This is the third in the Langdon series, and it doesn’t really give us much of a history lesson nor does it give us an understanding of the point of the whole film. It has a mixture of explaining everything to the point of it being redundant and still doesn’t explain the backstory. Most of the time, the film just doesn’t make any sense and is nothing like the first two films. This movie is not worth the watch.
