I really wanted this to be brilliant, but it lacks storytelling. The film wants to say something, but we aren’t sure where it’s going. It’s very stylized, and the performances are brilliant. The film looks like it is intelligent and creative, but when you have no idea what’s actually happening between scenes, you lose the audience. Part of the problem is that there are three different storylines woven together that are very separated from each other. If the connection between each had been better, this would have been a formidable film. Alas, it is not. This film is not worth the watch.
