The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976) Rated PG

A farmer joins a Confederate guerrilla unit on the run from Union soldiers who killed his family. Starring Clint Eastwood, Chief Dan George, and Sondra Locke.

Clint Eastwood does what he does best in this film. His character has the usual morals and defiance of authority. The film is a typical western with shootouts and action making up most of the film. The script is well written, having Eastwood’s character undertake a transformation throughout the film. The supporting cast are just as good and significant in helping Eastwood’s character learn as he struggles with revenge and injustice. This is one of those films that is worth the watch.
