Danica (2017) Rated TV-14

A behind-the-scenes look at Danica Patrick’s life as a racing superstar. Starring Danica Patrick.

This film was supposed to be a background look into the sport of racing and Danica’s life, and while we get a good look at Danica’s life, we don’t get a good look at the racing world. I couldn’t care less about her and what she wants in life. She is open about how she looks at life and what she dreams of in life, but she comes off as lost or fake. However, I don’t think it’s intentional. There are moments when I’m proud of her and moments of understanding for a woman in her position. While I get the reason behind this documentary, it lacks warmth and openness, thus it’s not worth the watch.
