A Return to Grace: Luther’s Life and Legacy (2017) Rated TV-PG

The story of Martin Luther as he took on the Catholic Church with his Ninety-five Theses. Starring Pádraic Delaney, Gerhard Bode Jr., and Hugh Bonneville.

This film is told with the words of Martin Luther’s writings or things that he had spoken in his lifetime. Delaney does the reenactments of Luther with his statements. Then there are the talking heads from various educations. This film one of the best I’ve seen, and it’s as true as you can get to the man’s life. It also covers the good and the bad of writing the Ninety-five Theses. We owe Martin Luther a debt of gratitude as he changed the church for the better. This is one of the best documentaries as it covers both the negative and the positive of a man’s life. It’s worth the watch.
