Amazing Winter Romance (2020) Rated TV-G

A journalist heads home to find inspiration for work while reconnecting with her childhood friend. Starring Jessy Schram, Marshall Williams, and Zoe Fish.

This film had a lot of potential. For instance, I enjoy Jessy Schram as one of the Hallmark darlings. She is a “girl next door” type, and Marshall Williams is more of the “boy next door” type than the boy out of your league. It’s obvious that his character likes Schram’s character more than she likes him throughout the film. We do get a glimpse of her jealously during the film, but I’m not sold on her love for him. That’s due to the writing more than the acting. Aso, the chemistry between the two isn’t really there – I think Williams tried, but it just wasn’t there. This film is not worth the watch.
