A documentary about New Orleans 20 years after Katrina, highlighting its culture in music, food, and traditions. Starring Wendell Pierce, Louis Armstrong, and James Carville.
CNN isn’t the best place to get your information; however, this series does provide some valuable details, while at times it’s biased, which isn’t surprising. The information doesn’t go in depth on the history of New Orleans, so if the series has a time limit, it won’t highlight everything. It’s interesting to see one of the most historical cities of the US highlighted, and it’s a joy to watch it come back after destruction to be just as vibrant as it was before. It hasn’t changed much since I last visited, which was before Katrina. This series is worth the watch.
