While, I have enjoyed Welcome to Wrexham, which is produced by Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds (who also own part of the team), they have expanded with Eva and a Mexican team. This series is a far cry from Wrexham. Wrexham is based on the fans and the fandom of generations. Necaxa, on the other hand, is all about the team and its staff. There are little to no interviews with the fans. There is no heart, and it’s all business. To top it off, the show is mostly in Spanish, and while I’m used to watching films that are in another language, this show just didn’t capture my attention. It’s not worth the watch.
