It’s quite obvious from the beginning that this mother has some kind of mental illness and that it was passed down through generations. The stakes get high when one of the boys starts to question whether the evil is real or not. This is not your typical thriller. It tries to be psychological in a thriller sense, but there wasn’t much suspense. The film wanted to blur the lines between reality and fiction but had a hard time conveying this. Thus, the film is not worth the watch.
