Cal Weaver’s wife wants a divorce, as he faces single life he meets bachelor Jacob Palmer, who teaches Cal the bachelor lifestyle.
I loved this film. If you can get passed the first few minutes of Jacob’s tutelage, the film redeems itself. It’s a romantic comedy and in that we see all points of love. It sometimes causes us to squirm but I believe it also the truth of learning to love. I think the writers were wonderful in their storytelling. There is a twist in the story that I didn’t see coming and I’ll need to watch it again to see if I didn’t see it or if the writers were purposely leading us a stray. Yet, it was brilliantly done.
