Rated PG-13
Suffering from depression, Walter Black uses a beaver hand puppet to help him open up to his family. Starring Mel Gibson, Cherry Jones, Jodie Foster, Anton Yelchin
I thought this was a well done film. The acting was superb. The script had some shaky moments but still keep the story together. I also thought that the portrayal of mental illness was sensible and honest. I know a lot of people had trouble getting though the premise of the movie–a man with a puppet–but it’s worth a watch.
