A Christmas Carol (1984)

A Christmas Carol (1984)Rated PG

George C. Scott plays Scrooge in this Charles Dickens classic. Starring George C. Scott, Frank Finlay, Angela Pleasence

This has to be the second best Christmas Carol adaption. Scott’s portrayal of Scrooge was one of the best I’ve seen and the ghosts are the most unsettling I’ve ever seen. Some people have put down Scott’s problems with grasping the English accent but I never noticed an issue. It’s one of the better films. It’s not to miss.

A great film indeed! No one better to play Scrooge than George C. Scott.
