To Hell and Back (1955) Rated NR

To hell and backThe true story of Audie Murphy, who is the most decorated hero in the Army. Starring Audie Murphy, Marshall Thompson, Charles Drake

I  love that this film is realistic and uses real soldiers in the marching scenes. I believe this is due to Audie Murphy, who plays himself. I think it would be hard to play your life over again as Audie does. Especially when you have to relive the life and deaths of those around you. It must have been heart wrenching. I think he did a fabulous job. I only have one issue with this movie. I wish they dug deeper into the heroics of Murphy. They seem to skim over the heroics of his life, which could be because of Murphy as well. Would you want to relive the war you fought?
