A Princeton admissions officer meets a college bound student that may be her son. Starring Tina Fey, Ann Harada, Ben Levin, Paul Rudd, Michael Sheen
Although, this is an interesting subject to tackle for film (college admissions), I don’t think it was portrayed well. I certainly don’t think the storyline about the adopted son needed to be added. The film could have been done just as well without it. I do think the one thing that killed this movie was that it wasn’t that side-splitting funny. It’s a romantic comedy but not that funny. Tina Fey, in fact comes across as trying to be her funny self but didn’t have the lines to back it up. Admission is great for the romance but I would skip on the funny.
